Jackson Healthcare, one of the largest healthcare staffing and technology companies in the U.S., has brought a sense of Italian ease to their campus in Alpharetta, Georgia with a stunning Italian piazza and Florentine-inspired exterior facades.

As a healthcare company, the $100 million expansion places an emphasis on employee well-being. The campus includes a fitness center, a spa, a restaurant, tranquility zones, fountain displays, walking trails, and on-site daycare, as well as a piazza that provides greenspace and a new type of meeting space.

For Jackson Healthcare, imbuing comfort and ease into the workplace extended beyond luxury amenities. When designing the office space, architects RJTR Rule Joy Trammell + Rubio and VP of Pre-Construction at Choate Construction, Rob Hickman, had to create a multi-purpose space that would be used for training sessions, conferences, meetings, and events. The clients, however, were focused on making sure a multi-purpose space such was easy for employees to use and had great acoustics to ensure the utmost comfort for their employees and guests. Jackson Healthcare had used traditional operable walls in the past, and worried about the manual labor involved in reconfiguring spaces as well as the acoustics. Choate Construction, who regularly recommends Skyfold on projects, and RJTR found that two Skyfold Classic™ 55 walls could create a flexible space that brought value to the employees.

The campus is a testament to the company’s growth as one of the largest private companies in Georgia and to its commitment to Alpharetta’s economic future. For Jackson Healthcare’s Senior Vice President of Corporate Real Estate, Leslie Day-Harrell, even the use of Skyfold in the space is an indicator of the company’s status within Georgia’s corporate scene: “We are particularly excited that we are one of the few companies in Atlanta that will be utilizing the Skyfold room partitions—very cool and acoustically superior to the standard room dividers.” (Bizjournals, October 2018)
