ACOUSTICAL GLASS WALL|Glass Walls Partitioning|Mirage Folding Walls|acoustical glass wall|glass folding partition Skyfold Mirage is an acoustical glass wall that is hard, rigid and flat in its down position. When not in use, however, it folds vertically for storage in the ceiling. Developed as a modular system, it consists of a grid of rectangular sealed glass units.
The maximum available panel length of the acoustical glass wall is twelve (12) feet. It is more economical to design at or below increments of 12 feet. For instance; an opening of 24’- 0" will have two panels on the length and be more economical than an opening of 25’- 0" which will have three panels across the length. Similarly a 60’- 0" opening will have one less panel on the length than a 61’- 0" opening.
Skyfold requires a minimum of two 24” x 24” access panels in the acoustic ceiling directly beside the motor for the installation and the maintenance of the acoustical glass wall system. This is not required if the finished ceiling is suspended ceiling tiles.
The Automatic Vertically Folding Acoustical Glass Wall herein specified shall be furnished and installed by an authorized local distributor licensed by the Automatic Vertically Folding Acoustical Glass Wall manufacturer.
